<DIV>Just a note to let everyone know that I was able to secure our reservations 

for the Christmas party.  As per the class decision yesterday, we now have 

reservations at the Big Shotz restaurant on Stratford Road on Saturday, December 

4, 2010 beginning at 6:00 PM.  It is a private dining room that will seat 

up to 70 people.  I will go by the restaurant this week and take a look at 

the room and also give them the deposit for $200 which will be refunded on the 

night of the party.  They will put the check in their safe and return it 

then.  This is done so people won't make a reservation for the room, 

expecting a large number of people and then not show up.  We will be able 

to order straight from the menu and have separate checks, with an 18% gratuity 

added.  (Some of the restaurants wanted to limit our choices from the menu 

to just a few entrees to make it easier on their cooks, but Big Shotz is not 

doing that.)  </DIV>

<DIV>I think the class is wise in making early reservations because it seems 

each year the restaurants get booked sooner and sooner for their Christmas 

parties.  Since we should have plenty of room, hopefully we can have a 

large group and a nice party.</DIV>
