[Seekers] Biltmore house/Lake Junaluska

To: Seekers Class Members and others


There has been some discussions about a trip on Dec. 11 and 12th to Asheville's Biltmore House 
to see their Christmas decorations and then going to hear the Lake Junaluska Singers lead by
Glenn Drapper(He is retiring after this performances).  There are two times
that the Singers perform-Friday at 7:30 PM and Saturday at 2:30 PM.
The cost is $15.00 per person.

The Cost for the Biltmore House is $42 on Friday and $52 on Saturday-again this is per person.

As we have 2 performances for the Singers-there are 2 options for these dates.

Option 1-Stay in Waynesville on Friday night and hear the singers-then travel to
Biltmore on Saturday-then home. This option will be a little more expensive as the 
tickets to Biltmore are more on Saturday.

Option 2-Drive to Asheville on Friday morning-arriving around noon-see the Biltmore house,stay in Asheville.
Travel to Waynesville Saturday afternoon to hear the singers -return home on Saturday afternoon.

Hotels in both cities will cost $59.75 in Asheville(Comfort Inn West) and $55.00 in Waynesville for
Days Inn-this is the price today. Both have continental breakfasts.

The plan is to carpool with some of us having room for 4-6 people.

Are you interested-if so your only initial outlay would be for Biltmore/ Singers tickets.
If so would you please let me know soon your option choice as the tickets for the
 Lake Junaluska Singers will go fast. 

I will pick the most popular option from those interested and book tickets and hotels.
