Kathie and all,
 
Thank you for letting everyone know.  As it stands now, the schedule is for visitation on Wednesday night and the service and interment on Thursday at Newton Grove, NC which is where most of Lisa's family live.  This is not firmed up yet, but should be by late tomorrow (Monday).
 
She and her daughter Rebekah flew in this afternoon to Monroe executive airport, and I picked them up and took them to their house.  Bryant is driving back, and should be there by about 9:30 tonight.
 
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.  Walker was an outdoor lover, and while his death is tragic, he died doing something he loved.  From all indications, he did not suffer.  We are thankful for that, and for the fact that we have the closure of having found his body.  It would have been far more difficult not to have found him.
 
We are a strong family, as is Lisa's, but we will all need your prayers in the coming days and weeks.

I wanted for you to know that Rick's nephew's body was found this morning. For those who weren't in worship today I will fill in the info. On Friday Walker and 2 friends went kayaking. They encountered trouble and were out of their boats. The two friends made it to the bank but Walker did not. Walker was a student at Auburn.

 

Rick's brother and sister-in-law went to Alabama on Friday. They will be making arrangements and I will share those with you. Walker was Bryant Mende's stepson.

 

Keep the family in your prayers. Walker was 22.
